I bought my beloved Flip Video Ultra just over a month ago, and have used it to make many a short video. Of course, now that I have one (and convinced Ted, Caley and Maxcine to buy one), they take a page out of Apple’s playbook and release a newer, smaller, sleeker version that fits in your front pocket… the Flip Mino.

Some other cool features of this new version are a internal rechargeable battery that can be charged via USB, a child safe mode so that kids cant accidentally delete the videos on the camera, and did I mention it fits in your pocket?

For those of you not paying attention, I’ve been putting lots of video clips up on Flickr the last few weeks. Since they introduced the video capabilities, I’ve been trying to take advantage. Plus, I have about 40-50 video clips of Lane over the last few years that needs to be edited and what not, and then it will find its way up there (slowly but surely).

Awesome! I’ve wanted this ability for a long time now, and my initial impression is that they did a great job. Better yet, WordPress.com already has support for it…
