Eh, it’s okay. It does a great job of catching the crap, don’t get me wrong. But it’s let stuff through before, which I suspect was the Akismet server going down. That’s what I want it to be, anyway. I certainly don’t like the theory that some splogger could post spam messages to his own blog and then tell Akismet that it’s good, and hence “teach” Akismet the wrong lessons. Granted, it would take bucket-loads of sploggers doing this in unison to get anywhere, but the theory remains. Needless to say, I’ve got Akismet, along with sundry other anti-spam measures. All this headache in an effort to keep community while ousting the junk. Sheesh.
